This ceremonial cacao is in powder form and can be easily used and prepared with your favorite spices and herbs - perfect for those of you who are on the go and don't have the time or desire to chop your cacao.
Our Ceremonial cocoa is sugar-free and we recommend adding any sweetener of your choice. We love a piece of date or two or a tablespoon of raw and organic honey.

Where does Ceremonial Cocoa come from?
This Ceremonial cacao comes from the women's collective Ruk'u'x Ulew and they are a collective 100% owned by women and they are passionate about producing handmade ceremonial cacao which you feel when you drink it.
Each bean is fermented, sun-dried, lightly roasted and peeled by hand. It is ground in small batches and becomes a unique, handmade cocoa with a traditional cocoa taste.
With every purchase of this heart-opening cacao, you support the Mayan people through direct ethical trade and help them preserve their spiritual traditions and values in this way.
Recipe for Ceremonial Cocoa
Ceremonial Cacap before a cacao ceremony
Our co-founder Nina Medicina usually uses this recipe in her cacao ceremonies.
Ingredients per person:
- 3 tablespoons of our 100% Ceremonial cacao, approx. 30 gr
- 1.5 dl warm water
- 2 dates
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 1 pinch cayenne
Instructions:
- Heat the water on the stove or in a kettle until it is warm, but not boiling.
- Add our ceremonial cocoa and all other ingredients including sweetener to your blender
- Set your intention, call in gratitude and maybe sing a song
- Pour all the ingredients into your blender and mix for about 20-30 seconds
- Pour into a saucepan and leave on your stove on the lowest heat until your ceremony begins
