100% Ceremonial Cacao from the women's collective Ruk'u'x Ulew in Guatemala.

Ingredients: 100% Ceremonial Cacao

This is a  block of ceremonial grade cacao that can easily be chopped with a knife and cutting board.

Our Cacao is sugar-free, and we recommend adding your preferred sweetener. We love a couple of dates or a tablespoon of raw and organic honey.

Where does Ceremonial Cacao come from?

Our Ceremonial Cacao comes from the women's collective Ruk'u'x Ulew in Guatemala, and they are a collective 100% owned by women who are passionate about producing handmade ceremonial Cacao, which you can feel when you drink it—this is our best-selling product.

Each bean is fermented, sun-dried, lightly roasted, and peeled by hand. It is milled in small batches and becomes a unique, handmade Cacao.

With every purchase of this heart-opening Cacao, you support the Mayan people through direct ethical trade and help them preserve their spiritual traditions and values in this way.

Storage: Store in a sealed bag in a cool, dark place.

Recipe for Ceremonial Cacao

Ceremonial Cacao for a Cacao ceremony

This recipe is often used by our co-founder Nina Medicina in her Cacao ceremonies.

Ingredients per person:

  • 3 tablespoons of our 100% Ceremonial Cacao- about 30g
  • 1.5 dl hot water
  • 2 dates
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • A pinch of Cayenne

Instructions:

How to make your Ceremonial Cacao

Heat the water on the stove or in a kettle until it's hot but not boiling.

Add our ceremonial Cacao and all other ingredients, including sweetener, to your blender.

Set your intention, call in gratitude, and perhaps sing a song.

Pour all ingredients into your blender and blend for about 20-30 seconds.

Pour it into a pot and let it sit on your stove on the lowest heat until your ceremony begins.
